Latest iPad 3 leaked photos suggest high-res display, camera

In three separate incidences over the weekend, insiders have leaked iPad 3 photos alluding to the design and purported parts for the soon-to-be-released tablet. Here’s a look at the shots, where they came from, and what they tell us.
8-megapixel camera
The first of three leaks published on Chinese blog, Apple Daily, displays a side-by-side comparison of the iPad’s shells from its first to third generation. The purported iPad 3 in the comparison displays a noticeable difference in the circumference of the rear-facing camera, assumed to be making space for an 8-megapixel camera. The case’s design itself, while exhibiting little difference from its second-generation predecessor as we’ve expected, may come with a noticeably beveled edge, likely in an effort to fit in a larger battery. We should expect the iPad 3 to trump the 10-hour battery life on its predecessor.

Bobby Brown blames security for exit from Houston funeral

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Singer Bobby Brown abruptly left the funeral of his ex-wife Whitney Houston on Saturday, claiming security guards asked him to move several times and prevented him from seeing his and Houston's daughter.
Brown said in a statement that upon arriving to the service he was moved three times by security, who also refused to allow him to his daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, 18.
Brown and Houston divorced in 2007 after a 15-year turbulent marriage as portrayed in a reality TV series, "Being Bobby Brown" that showed an affectionate yet troubled relationship.
"I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move," he said. "In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events."

Israel will make own decision on Iran: army chief

JERUSALEM: Israel will ultimately decree on an Iranian strike on its own, its military chief of staff said in an interview broadcast Saturday, as a senior US official arrived for talks on the Islamic Republic.'Israel is the central guarantor of its own security; this is our role as army, the State of Israel should defend itself,' Lieutenant General Benny Gantz told state-owned Channel One TV.'We must follow the developments in Iran and its nuclear project, but in a very broad manner, taking into account what the world is doing, what Iran decided, what we will do or not do,' he said.In recent weeks, there has been feverish speculation that Israel was getting closer to mounting a pre-emptive strike on Iran s nuclear programme, though Israel has denied reaching such a decision.Tensions between Iran and Israel have been simmering with Iranian warships entering the Mediterranean through the Suez Canal in a show of 'might', a move Israel said it would closely monitor. On Wednesday, Iran said it had installed another 3,000 centrifuges to increase its uranium enrichment abilities and was stepping up exploration and processing of uranium yellowcake. And Israel blamed a recent wave of attacks targeting Israeli diplomats on agents of Tehran, allegations Iran denies.US National Security Advisor Tom Donilon will on Sunday begin talks with Israeli officials on a range of issues including Iran, two weeks ahead of a Washington visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for White House talks with US President Barak Obama on the same topic.A recent article in the Washington Post said that US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta thinks Israel may strike Iran s nuclear installations in the coming months.According to Gantz, whose interview was conducted prior to the Saturday developments, Iran was not only an 'Israeli problem', but also 'a world and regional problem'. Arizona sheriff quits Romney campaign amid accusations

By David Schwartz
PHOENIX (Reuters) - A local sheriff resigned as a co-chair of Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney's campaign in Arizona on Saturday after he was accused of threatening a former male lover with deportation to Mexico if he talked about their relationship.
In an embarrassing incident for Romney's struggling campaign, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu denied that he or his lawyer made the deportation threat but stepped down from helping the former Massachusetts governor in the border state.
Babeu acknowledged at a press conference on Saturday that he is gay and that he had a personal relationship with the man making the allegations, whom he identified only as "Jose."
