(Reuters) - Research In Motion said its co-chief executives, Mike
Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie, are stepping down and the BlackBerry maker
named chief operating officer Thorsten Heins as its new CEO.
Heins, a former Siemens executive, has risen steadily at RIM since joining the Canadian company four years ago.
