Stable in Presidency takes away job of a journalist


Once again the present government has started campaign again the journalists and the first step has been taken by the official news agency of Pakistan APP. A tender notice by CDA was for developmental work of horse shed of presidency was made and issued and was compared to 90's era. When the horses of Asif Ali Zardari were made national issue. On this scandal a reporter is terminated from his services and an Editor of APP has been suspended and all efforts are made by APP administration to make him jobless and come on the road with his family. According to details a tender notice from CDA ( Capital Devolepment Authority )was published for the up gradation of sound system and supply of electricity to the presidency's horse shed. Reporter Saleeem Mumtaz extracted news from this tender notice. The official News agency of Pakistan government APP made an issue of this news and compared it to the stable of Asif Ali Zardari when Benazir Bhutto was the Prime Minister of Pakistan.APP ( Associated Press Of Pakistan Corporation ) MD Tehseen Rao and Executive Director Nasir Jamal joined hands with director news Naeem Chaudhary, Akram Malik and manager (HR) Mazhar even before the news were published threatened Saleem Mumtaz and Editor Tahir Mehmood for dire consequences. After that they suspended the editor and terminated the reporter from services according to sources the official news agency APP is trying its level best to malign the present government PPP by such steps.
On 30th Nov two very senior Journalists were suspended from APP and on the second day one of the most senior Journalist was dismissed on 13th Dec eight more workers were dismissed. A very reliable source is emphasizing that APP by terminating the workers is maligning the PPP government who promises to give jobs where as APP is making professional experienced people jobless and trying to bring them on road. According to reliable sources APP will dismiss at least 150 workers very soon.
