Egypt police the rights of research groups offices



The National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the International Republican Institute (IRI) were the two American groups involved in the transaction, Heba Morayef global economic rights Human Rights Watch and the group of legal sources.

The Arab Center for Independence of Justice (JICA) was also under investigation, headed by Nasser Amin told AFP, as was the Egyptian Organization budgetary and human rights, according to another legal source.


"The police and the army entered the headquarters of our organization accompanied by members of the prosecution," said Amin ACIJ.

Search operations have been ordered by the prosecution service "following complaints from the NGO (nongovernmental organizations) receive foreign support," said a court official, speaking on condition of anonymity.
