NEW DELHI: Extreme cold and foggy conditions has taken 22 more lives in  India, pushing the country-wide death toll this winter to 75. Schools in  Bihar and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh have been closed due to the  freezing weather.The cold killed 15 more people in Uttar Pradesh, while 7  others died in road mishaps in Bihar. Most of the deaths occurred due  to poor visibility caused by thick fog. Jharkhand Disaster Management  Minister Gopalkrishna Patar said in Ranchi that the cold and harsh  weather had so far cliamed 14 lives in the state.Uttar Pradesh accounted  for a maximum of 45 fatalities, Jharkhand 14, Punjab nine and Bihar  seven, officials in respective state capitals said.
