The husband of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is in trouble with the law again.
Joe Giudice was indicted by a New Jersey grand jury on Tuesday, December 20 on one count of wrongfully using identifying information of another and one count of impersonation, according to E! News.
The charges stem from an allegation that Giudice used his brother Pietro's information in June 2010 to obtain a driver license in Paterson, New Jersey, after his had been suspended after a DUI conviction.
Joe Giudice was arrested in March after his brother Pietro got pulled over during a routine traffic stop. When police ran his driver's license through their system, Joe Giudice's picture came up instead. Joe Giudice reportedly used his brother's birth certificate and marriage license to obtain the driver's license.
The first charge carries up to 10 years in prison while the second can carry up to 18 months in prison.
Joe and Teresa Giudice have fallen on hard times before. Joe Giudice filed for bankruptcy in October 2010, stating that he owed nearly $8.7 million to creditors. He later withdrew the claim earlier this year.
The couple has appeared on all three seasons of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" since its inception in 2009. The couple has four daughters together.
