Most of the country in grip of severe cold

KARACHI: Most parts of the country witnessing extreme cold, as the mercury seen dropping down the freezing point, Geo News reported.Weather across most of the country in the next 24 hours will remain chill and dry, while on the mountains of Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Malakand Division light rain and snowfall expected, metrological department forecast.During the past 24 hours, Parachanar was coldest, where the temperature was recorded at minus 11, while Islamabad recorded minus 1, Lahore zero, Peshawar 1, Quetta minus 6 and Karachi s minimum temperature at 10 degree Celsius.
